Job summary

ProSmile is seeking a compassionate Dental Assistant to join our team and support prosthodontics, implants, oral surgery and removable prosthetics. You will work with dentists and in-house lab professionals in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment where growth is encouraged and quality of care is paramount.

Responsibilities include chairside support, operatory prep, radiographs, infection control, patient education, and assisting with denture procedures, implants and other prosthetic

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED.
• Dental assistant certification and state X-ray certification where required.
• Strong communication and patient service skills are essential.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment and work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide chairside support and ensure a welcoming patient experience from check-in to treatment.
• Prepare operatories, instruments, equipment and materials before each appointment.
• Assist dentists during denture procedures, implants, oral surgery, extractions and prosthetic treatments.
• Take alginate denture impressions and assist with impressions and wax bites as directed by the dentist.
• Assist with denture insertions, adjustments, relines, repairs and expanded duties where allowed by state law.
• Educate patients on treatment plans, denture options, implant procedures and postoperative care.
• Document patient histories and clinical notes accurately.
• Take dental radiographs per state requirements and maintain infection control standards.
