Job summary

Affordable Care, LLC is seeking a Dental Assistant to support affiliated dentists and lab professionals in delivering tooth replacement care. You will provide chair-side assistance for dentures, implants, and oral surgery, while ensuring top-notch patient service and education.

As a Dental Assistant, you will take X-rays where certified, sterilize instruments, and help with impressions and denture adjustments under direction. A valid DA and X-ray certification and HS diploma are required.

Qualifications

• Active DA and X-ray certification required.
• 1+ year hands-on experience assisting with dentures/implants preferred.
• HS Diploma required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the office to receive patients.
• Provide high-quality service to patients.
• Educate patients on treatment options and pricing.
• Record treatment and patient history accurately.
• Assist dentists with impressions, dentures and implants.
• Prepare wax bites and assist with denture adjustments under supervision.
• Assist with surgeries and take/draw X-rays as certified.
• Sterilize instruments and maintain clean operatories.
• Assist in checkout and manage paperwork.
