Job summary

Affordable Care, LLC is seeking a Dental Assistant to support affiliated dentists and lab staff in delivering denture and implant care. You will provide chair-side assistance, take impressions, and assist with denture adjustments under supervision.

The role requires an active DA and X-ray certification, HS diploma, and at least one year of dentures/implants experience. The position is on-site with potential travel for training, offering comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Active DA and X-ray certification required.
• HS Diploma required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the office to receive patients prior to opening daily.
• Provide responsive, high-quality service to patients.
• Educate patients about treatment options, denture styles, packages, aftercare, and pricing.
• Record treatment notes and patient history as instructed by the dentist.
• Assist dentist with dentures, implants, and oral surgery within legal scope.
• Take and develop x-rays as needed (certified where required).
• Sterilize instruments and maintain a clean operatory and equipment.
• Escort patients to checkout and handle paperwork.
• Inventory and reorder supplies; perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.
• Travel may be required for training/education.
