Job summary

Affordable Dentures & Implants is seeking a compassionate Dental Assistant to join our team. This role supports dentists in prosthodontics, implants, oral surgery, and removable prosthetics, while delivering exceptional patient care and educational guidance. The position offers growth opportunities in a fast-paced, patient-focused practice.

You'll prepare operatories, take radiographs, manage infection control, and assist with denture procedures and related treatments under state regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Dental Assistant and X-ray certification (state requirements) is required.
• Excellent communication and patient service skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Commitment to teamwork and compassionate patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide chairside support during dental procedures.
• Prepare operatories and instruments.
• Assist dentists during denture procedures, implants, oral surgery, extractions, and prosthetic treatments.
• Take denture impressions and wax bites.
• Take radiographs in accordance with state requirements.
• Educate patients on treatment plans and post-operative care.
• Maintain infection prevention and sterilization standards.
• Monitor inventory and assist with supplies.
• Travel occasionally for training and continuing education.
