Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Dental Assistant and X-ray certification required where state law requires.
• Strong communication and patient service skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide chairside support and ensure a welcoming patient experience from check-in to treatment.
• Prepare operatories, instruments, equipment, and materials for each patient.
• Assist dentists during denture procedures, dental implant placement, oral surgery, extractions, and prosthetic treatments.
• Take and assist with alginate denture impressions and wax bites under dentist direction.
• Assist with denture insertions, relines, repairs, and other expanded duties as permitted by state law.
• Educate patients on treatment plans, denture options, implant procedures, post-op care, and financial packages.
• Take dental radiographs per state certification requirements.
• Maintain infection prevention and sterilization standards and inventory levels.
