Affordable Dentures & Implants in Shreveport, LA is seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to join our prosthodontic-focused team. You’ll support dentists during denture procedures, implants, and oral surgery while maintaining strict infection control and high patient care standards.

Responsibilities include prepping operatories, taking impressions, assisting with denture insertions, and educating patients on treatment options and home care. Growth opportunities and hands-on training are provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Dental Assistant and X-ray certification (where required by state).

Responsibilities

• Provide chairside support and create a welcoming patient experience.
• Prepare operatories, instruments, equipment and materials before each appointment.
• Assist dentists during denture procedures, implants, oral surgery, extractions and prosthetic treatments.
• Take and assist with alginate denture impressions, select impression trays and prepare wax bites.
• Maintain infection control and sterilization standards for instruments and rooms.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering clinical supplies.
• Support daily office operations and travel for training as needed.
• Educate patients on treatment plans and financial options.
