Benevis is hiring a Dental Assistant to join our growing team. You will support the office and assist clinicians with treatment, educate patients, and help maintain a clean, ready-to-operate dental environment.

We value teamwork and patient-centered care in a community-focused role. Responsibilities include assisting during procedures, taking X-rays when location permits, and ensuring proper sterilization and patient documentation.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a senior high school or GED equivalent.
• X-ray certification preferred according to state practices.
• Certified dental assistant credentials preferred according to state practices.
• Bi-lingual in Spanish a plus (location dependent).
• Perform to the highest integrity by adhering to all government regulations, company standards, and compliance programs.
• Other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality and compassionate care to every patient.
• Guide parents of minors and patients through our processes before treatment.
• Educate patients in oral hygiene and provide postoperative instructions.
• Prepare patient for examination and treatment.
• Take x-rays and save to patient charts (location dependent).
• Ensure hygiene bay and operatory rooms are ready for use.
• Prepare tray setups for dental procedures.
• Mix materials and prepare impression materials.
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments, equipment, chairs and rooms.
• Assist dental staff with treatment and document patient information.
