Job summary

Benevis is seeking a Dental Assistant to join our growing team. You will support the office and assist dental staff with treatment, helping us deliver quality care to patients in the community.

The role emphasizes teamwork, patient education, and adherence to regulations, with opportunities for ongoing certification trainings and paid time off. Bilingual Spanish is a plus; location-dependent.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• X-ray certification preferred according to state practices.
• Certified dental assistant credentials preferred according to state practices.
• Bilingual in Spanish a plus (location dependent).

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality and compassionate care to every patient.
• Guide parents of minors through our processes before treatment.
• Educate patients in oral hygiene and provide postoperative instructions.
• Prepare patient for examination and treatment.
• Take x-rays and save to patient charts (location dependent).
• Ensure hygiene bay and operatory rooms are ready.
• Prepare tray set-ups for dental procedures.
• Mix materials and prepare impression materials.
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments, equipment, chairs and rooms.
• Assist with treatment: document information, suction, retractors, sutures, impression casts, and custom trays.
