Job summary

Riccobene Associates Family Dentistry in Cary West is seeking a Full Time Dental Assistant II to support the dentist, handle treatment coordination, and manage patient flow. Competitive salary with benefits and opportunities for growth are offered.

The role requires DAII training or equivalent, CDA certification or CODA-accredited program, CPR certification, and experience with Eaglesoft/Denticon as a plus. Schedule may involve travel to other locations as needed.

Qualifications

• DAII training or equivalent required.
• Preferred 2-5 years of Dental Assistant experience.
• CDA certification, or CODA-accredited program, or radiology exam.
• CPR certified, or will become CPR certified within 30 days of hire.
• Knowledge of Eaglesoft and/or Denticon a plus.
• Regular and timely attendance; teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist in providing dental treatment.
• Functions as a treatment coordinator and presents treatment plans to patients.
• Schedules patient appointments to accommodate obstacles.
• Maintains dental instruments, supplies and equipment.
• Collects and records patient health histories.
• Assists with patient management during dental procedures.
• Completes instrument cleaning and sterilization; post-op sanitization.
