Job summary

Riccobene Associates Family Dentistry in Cary West is hiring a full-time Dental Assistant II. You will assist the dentist, coordinate treatment plans, manage scheduling, and maintain instruments and rooms.

The role includes charting, patient management, and supporting multiple locations as needed. The ideal candidate has DAII training, 2–5 years of experience, and CDA or radiology certification; CPR is required or obtained within 30 days.

Qualifications

• DAII training or equivalent required.
• 2–5 years dental assistant experience preferred.
• CDA certification, radiology equivalency, or CODA-accredited program required.
• CPR certification, or within 30 days of hire.
• Ability to present treatment plans and insurance information to patients.
• Knowledge of Eaglesoft and/or Denticon is a plus.
• Regular and timely attendance.
• Teamwork, initiative, and flexibility across locations.

Responsibilities

• Assists the dentist in providing dental treatment.
• Acts as treatment coordinator; presents treatment plans to patients.
• Schedules patient appointments to optimize care.
• Maintains dental instruments, supplies and equipment.
• Collects and records patient health histories.
• Assists with patient management during procedures.
• Performs instrument cleaning, sterilization, and room sanitation.
• Prepares dental materials and equipment for treatments.
• Completes dental charting.
• Manages inventory and ancillary duties.
