Job summary

Riccobene Associates Family Dentistry is hiring a Full Time Dental Assistant II for its Winston Salem location. The role supports dentists during procedures, coordinates treatment plans with patients, and ensures smooth clinic operations.

Qualifications

• DA Training or equivalent.
• Preferred 2-5 years of Dental Assistant experience.
• Achieved CDA certification, radiological equivalency exam, or CODA-accredited program.
• CPR certified or will become CPR certified within 30 days of hire.
• Ability to present clinical information to patients clearly.
• Knowledge of Eaglesoft and/or Denticon a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assists the dentist in providing dental treatment.
• Functions as a treatment coordinator and presents treatment plans to patients.
• Schedules patient appointments to accommodate potential obstacles.
• Maintains dental instruments, supplies, and equipment.
• Collects and records patient health histories.
• Assists with patient management during procedures.
• Completes instrument cleaning, sterilization and room sanitization.
• Prepares dental materials and equipment for scheduled treatments.
• Completes dental charting.
• Responsible for inventory and other ancillary duties.
