Smile North Carolina, a school-based mobile dental practice, is seeking a Dental Assistant II in Greensboro, NC and surrounding areas to help provide dental care to underserved children at their schools. This is a part-time position, 2-3 days per week, with flexible days.

Our innovative in-school dental program offers a different experience than a traditional dental practice. Dental Assistant II Qualifications

• X-ray Licensed
• Coronal Polishing
• CPR / BLS certified
• Experience as a Dental Assistant
• Digital X-ray Imaging experience
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel to schools across counties
• Works well with children
• Team player and able to work in a small team
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Dental Assistant Responsibilities

Smile Programs is the nation's leading in-school dental program, founded nearly two decades ago by two moms who are also dentists. They recognized the need among underserved school-aged children who lacked access to dental care, often suffering from poor oral hygiene, tooth decay, and related health issues.
