Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during procedures including restorative treatments, crowns, fillings, and other general dentistry services.
• Prepare treatment rooms and ensure instruments, materials, and equipment are ready for patient care.
• Take dental X-rays and digital images in accordance with certifications and regulations.
• Complete patient charting, periodontal charting, and clinical documentation.
• Educate patients on post-operative instructions and oral hygiene practices.
• Follow OSHA and CDC infection control and sterilization guidelines.
• Monitor and maintain supplies, instruments, and equipment.
• Support efficient patient flow by anticipating provider needs.
• Communicate professionally with patients and team members.
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and positive clinical environment.
