Job summary

Qualifications
- Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
- Experience in fast-paced, customer-centric environment.
- Dental assistant certification and/or x-ray certification as required by state.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- HIPAA training and PHI protection required.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome patients and educate during treatment.
- Review patient health history for quality care.
- Take and process x-rays and diagnostics (iTero 3D scanner, digital photography).
- Provide chairside assistance to dentists during procedures.
- Use Dentrix for scheduling and records.
- Prepare treatment room per safety protocols (OSHA & CDC).
- Manage supplies and inventory; place orders as needed.
- Partner with providers to implement Heartland Dental systems.
