Job summary

Aspen Dental in Bloomington, MN is seeking a Dental Assistant to support clinicians and patients throughout daily clinical workflow. You will assist during procedures, take X-rays, prepare operatory, and uphold infection control while delivering friendly care.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients.
• Ability to work collaboratively with dental team to provide patient care.
• High school diploma or equivalent and active license/permit as required by state.

Responsibilities

• Assist during a variety of treatment procedures.
• Take dental x-rays.
• Set up and breakdown operatory post treatment.
• Execute patient handoffs and monitor patient flow within the practice.
• Manage infection control – prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment.
• Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain good oral health.
• Complete denture relines and manufacture temporary crowns.
• Perform quality impressions and bite registrations.
• Perform digital intraoral scans.
• Support patient charting for doctors.
• Perform various office tasks as necessary.
