Job summary

Aspen Dental is hiring a Dental Assistant in Minnesota for a full-time role with competitive pay and benefits. The position offers a salary of $30-$35 per hour, plus a generous benefits package including PTO, health, dental, vision, and a 401(k) plan with match.

You will assist in treatments, take x-rays, set up operatories, manage infection control, and educate patients while collaborating with the practice team to ensure patient satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients.

• Ability to work collaboratively with the dental team to provide patient care.
• High school diploma or equivalent; active license/registration as required

Responsibilities

• Assist during a variety of treatment procedures.
• Take dental x-rays.
• Set up and breakdown operatory post treatment.
• Execute patient handoffs and monitor patient flow within the practice.
• Manage infection control - prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene strategies to maintain good oral health.
• Complete denture relines and manufacture temporary crowns.
• Perform quality impressions and bite registrations.
• Perform digital intraoral scans.
• Support patient charting for doctors.
• Perform various office tasks as necessary.
• Collaborate with practice team to ensure optimum patient satisfaction
