Job summary

Aspen Dental is seeking a Dental Assistant to support clinical operations and contribute to community-focused patient care. The position offers stability, training, and flexible scheduling to help you thrive in your dental career.

You will assist in procedures, prepare operatory setups, maintain infection control, educate patients, take impressions and scans, and collaborate with the team to ensure excellent patient experiences across the practice.

Qualifications

• Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to participate in ongoing learning.
• Ability to work with dental team to provide patient care.
• State license/permit and X-ray certification as required by state

Responsibilities

• Assist during a variety of dental treatment procedures.
• Set up and breakdown operatory post treatment.
• Execute patient handoffs and monitor patient flow within the practice.
• Manage infection control — prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment.
• Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain good oral health.
• Complete denture relines and temporary crowns as needed.
• Perform quality impressions and bite registrations.
• Perform digital intraoral scans.
• Handle office tasks and support the practice team as needed.
• Collaborate with team to ensure optimum patient satisfaction.
