You will work a schedule with mornings/evenings, perform radiography and health history reviews, and provide four-handed chairside assistance using Dentrix and iTero equipment. A Florida x-ray certificate and 2+ years of experience are required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of chairside dental assisting experience in a general dentistry setting
• Florida x-ray certificate required
• Dentrix or other dental software experience
• Team player with positive attitude
• Excellent communication and organizational skills (HIPAA training)

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients and educate them throughout treatment
• Review health history to ensure quality care
• Take and process x-rays and diagnostic assessments (iTero 3D scanner)
• Provide four-handed chairside assistance to dentists
• Use Dentrix for scheduling and record keeping
• Prepare treatment rooms with safety protocols (OSHA)
• Manage supplies and place orders as needed
• Collaborate with providers to improve office workflow
