Christensen Dental in Henderson, NV is seeking a Dental Assistant to join our team. You’ll greet patients, prepare treatment rooms, take and process X-rays, and provide chairside assistance under the direction of supported dentists.

Qualified candidates have 1+ year of chairside experience, familiarity with Dentrix or similar software, and a patient-focused, team-oriented mindset. Completion of a dental assisting program is preferred; HIPAA training is required.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of chairside dental assisting experience.
• Dentrix or other dental software experience.
• Team player attitude and professional demeanor.
• Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
• Experience in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• HIPAA training and PHI protection awareness.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients from the start of their dental journey and educate them.
• Review patient health history to provide quality care.
• Take and process x-rays and diagnostic assessments.
• Provide chairside assistance to dentists during procedures.
• Utilize Dentrix for scheduling and records.
• Prepare treatment rooms following safety protocols.
• Manage supply and inventory and place orders as needed.
• Collaborate with providers to maximize office workflow.
