Job summary

Ideal Dental is seeking a Dental Assistant to support our growing Texas practice. You’ll assist with a wide range of procedures, take x-rays, and help prepare operatories while ensuring patient comfort.

You’ll work with a clinician-led team, manage patient flow, and maintain infection control standards. Digital iTero scans and charting support are part of the role, with a focus on high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Dental Assistant License required.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Minimum of 6 months to 1 year of experience as an RDA in a dental practice.
• DeNovo Offices: New acquired offices may require travel.

Responsibilities

• Assist with a wide range of dental procedures.
• Take dental x-rays with precision and care.
• Prepare and break down operatories after each procedure.
• Manage patient flow by facilitating smooth handoffs.
• Ensure infection control standards and sterilization.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices.
• Take impressions and bite registrations for appliances.
• Conduct digital iTero scans for diagnostics.
• Assist with patient charting and documentation.
• Collaborate with the entire practice team to enhance patient experiences.
