Job summary

Elite Dental Partners in Milwaukee, Wisconsin is seeking a Part-Time Dental Assistant who shares a passion for patient care and education in a welcoming team environment.

You will provide chair-side support, take and process X-Rays, enter treatment plans, maintain files, and ensure sterility and patient comfort throughout each visit. A dental assisting program and radiology certification are required; Dentrix experience is preferred, and proficiency with Microsoft Office helps daily operations.

Qualifications

• Completion of a dental assisting program; state board certification as required.
• Radiology certification required by State Dental Board for compliance.
• Dental assisting experience preferred; strong time management and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide chair-side clinical support to Dentists and Hygienists; charting, patient education, operatory setup and cleanup.
• Deliver a superior patient experience at all phases of appointment.
• Take and process X-Rays.
• Enter patient treatment plans and maintain files.
• Complete sterilization processes for equipment and operatories.
• Educate patients on oral health and maintenance.

Qualifications

• Completion of a dental assisting program, certification as required by the State Dental Board
• Radiology certification required to be compliant with the State Dental Board
• Dental assisting experience preferred
• Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products and working with a dental software, experience with Dentrix preferred
• Excellent communication skills and a commitment to partnering with all team members to create a great environment
