Job summary

Grayslake Endodontics in Grayslake, IL is seeking a friendly dental assistant to join our privately owned specialty practice. You will assist endodontists, take intraoral X-rays, and help keep the practice running smoothly in a warm, supportive environment.

Hours are Mon–Fri, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM with part-time opportunities and potential to move to full-time (4 days per week). Pay ranges from $20.00 to $25.00 per hour based on experience, plus benefits like PTO, 401(k), health insurance, and free

• At least 1 year as a dental assistant (required).
• High school diploma or equivalent; OSHA, HIPAA, and Infection Control.
• Training kept current.

Responsibilities

• Partner with endodontists to assist in root canal and surgical procedures.
• Capture intraoral x-rays and 3D CBCT scans.
• Maintain room turnover, sterilize instruments, and prepare trays.
• Provide front desk support when needed—answering phones, scheduling, verifying insurance, and welcoming patients.

Pay: $20.00 – $25.00 per hour (based on experience). Full time (4 days per week)

What You’ll Do

• Partner with our endodontists to assist in root canal and surgical procedures
• Capture intraoral x-rays and 3D CBCT scans
• Keep things flowing smoothly by turning over rooms, sterilizing instruments, and preparing trays
• Jump in with front desk support when needed—answering phones, scheduling, verifying insurance, and welcoming patients with a smile

What We’re Looking For

• Experience: At least 1 year as a dental assistant (required)
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; OSHA, HIPAA, and Infection Control
• Training kept current
• Skills & Qualities:
  • A positive, can-do attitude and great customer service skills
  • Strong communication and relationship-building abilities
  • Comfort multitasking in a busy environment while staying calm and kind
