Crystal Lake Dentals Arts in Crystal Lake, IL seeks a friendly, professional full-time dental assistant for our small private practice. You will prepare patients, sterilize instruments, assist with procedures, expose dental x-rays, record histories, and help ensure a welcoming, high-quality patient experience.

Qualifications

• At least one year of dental assistant experience.

Responsibilities

Schedule:

• Monday: 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM
• Tuesday: 1:00 PM – 8:30 PM
• Thursday: 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM
• Friday: 7:30 AM – 1:30 PM
• One Saturday per month: 7:30 AM – 12:30 PM

Expected Hours: 28-30 per week

Responsibilities:

• Preparing patients for dental work.
• Helping with infection control by sterilizing and disinfecting instruments, setting up instrument trays, preparing materials, and assisting with dental procedures.
• Assisting dental hygienists with procedures when necessary.
• Providing great patient care.
• Recording treatment information in patient records.
• Exposing dental x-rays from dental diagnostics and caring for dental x-ray equipment.
• Collecting and recording medical and dental histories and patient vital signs.
• Providing postoperative instructions as directed by the dentist.
• Caring for dental equipment.
• Ordering dental supplies and maintaining dental equipment inventory.

Experience: At least one year of dental assistant experience required.

Compensation:

$20.00 - $25.00 per hour, based on experience.

• Applicants must be able to reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting.
