First Impressions Dental in Ashburn, VA, is seeking a Dental Assistant who is energetic, motivated, and ready to be a true team player. The role supports a private family practice led by an experienced doctor and a dedicated team, delivering excellent care to patients and teammates.

The ideal candidate is a CDA with active CPR certification, available Monday–Friday, and has a willingness to learn. Experience in oral surgery and computer proficiency are a plus.

Qualifications

• Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) credential required.
• Active CPR certification required.
• Availability Monday-Friday during practice hours.
• Bonus: experience in oral surgery and computer proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms, patients, instruments and materials for procedures.
• Welcome, comfort, and assist patients throughout their visit.
• Pour, trim, and polish study casts; fabricate temporary restorations.
• Educate patients by answering questions and providing clear instructions.
• Clean and polish removable appliances.
• Assist the doctor during procedures (set-ups, suction, passing instruments).
• Document dental care services accurately in patient records.
• Capture high-quality intraoral photographs.
• Maintain OSHA compliance through sterilization of instruments and equipment.
• Contribute to a positive, collaborative team culture.

What You’ll Do
