First Impressions Dental in Ashburn is seeking a trained Dental Assistant to join our private family practice. The role supports the dentist in clinical procedures, prepares rooms, assists patients, and helps maintain a clean, organized environment.

Qualifications

• Must hold an CDA (Certified Dental Assistant) credential.
• CPR certification required.
• Available Monday–Friday during practice hours.
• Bonus: experience in oral surgery and computer proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments and materials for procedures.
• Welcome and assist patients throughout their visit.
• Pour, trim and polish study casts; fabricate temporary restorations.
• Educate patients by answering questions and giving clear instructions.
• Clean and polish removable appliances.
• Anticipate doctor’s needs during procedures (set-ups, suction, passing instruments).
• Document dental care services accurately in patient records.
• Capture high-quality intraoral photographs.
• Maintain OSHA compliance through proper sterilization and safety protocols.

What You'll Do
