First Impressions Dental in Ashburn is seeking a Dental Assistant who is energetic, motivated, and ready to be a true team player. The role supports a private family practice with a focus on delivering excellent patient care.

Qualified candidates are a Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) with active CPR certification, available Monday through Friday during practice hours, and preferably experienced in oral surgery and computer proficiency. Competitive wages and benefits are offered.

Responsabilités

• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments and materials for procedures.
• Welcome patients and provide comfort and assistance during visits.
• Pour, trim, and polish study casts; assist with temporary restorations.
• Educate patients by answering questions and giving clear instructions.
• Sterilize instruments and equipment to meet OSHA standards.
• Assist the doctor during procedures (set-ups, suction, passing instruments).
• Document dental care in patient records and capture intraoral photos.

What You'll Do

• Prepare treatment rooms, patients, instruments, and materials for procedures

• Welcome, comfort, and assist patients throughout their visit

• Pour, trim, and polish study casts; fabricate temporary restorations

• Educate patients by answering questions and providing clear instructions

• Clean and polish removable appliances

• Anticipate the doctor's needs during procedures (set-ups, suction, passing instruments)

• Document dental care services accurately in patient records

• Capture high-quality intraoral photographs

• Maintain OSHA compliance through proper sterilization of instruments and equipment

• Contribute to a positive, collaborative team culture

Who You Are

• Certified Dental Assistant (CDA)

• Active CPR certification
