You will assist chairside across restorative, cosmetic, and preventive treatments, prepare and sterilize instruments, take X-rays, document histories, and educate patients on oral hygiene while maintaining a stocked, efficient

Qualifications

• Prior dental assistant experience preferred.
• Virginia radiology certification or licensure required.
• Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures and infection control protocols.
• Dental assisting certification or accredited program preferred.

Esthetique Dentistry of Ashburn is looking for a talented and passionate Dental Assistant to join our growing team in Ashburn, VA! Responsibilities:

• Assist the dentist chairside during a variety of dental procedures including restorative, cosmetic, and preventive treatments
• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and treatment rooms between patients
• Take and develop dental X-rays (radiographs) as directed
• Record patient medical histories and treatment information in dental charts
• Provide post-operative instructions and patient education on oral hygiene
• Manage dental supply inventory and ensure operatories are fully stocked
• Deliver a warm, comfortable experience to patients throughout their visit

Requirements:

• Prior experience as a Dental Assistant preferred
• Dental assisting certification or completion of an accredited dental assisting program preferred
• Radiology certification or X-ray licensure as required by Virginia state regulations
• Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and infection control protocols
• Strong interpersonal skills with a patient-first, compassionate attitude
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
