Heartland Dental Temple in Temple, TX is hiring an experienced Dental Assistant to join a family-oriented practice. You will assist dentists, manage x-rays, and maintain patient records with Dentrix while upholding safety standards.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
• Experience in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment.
• Certification in dental assisting and/or x-ray where required by state law.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• HIPAA training and PHI protection compliance.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and ensure comfort and education throughout treatment.
• Review health history to support quality care.
• Take and process x-rays and diagnostic assessments.
• Provide four-handed chairside assistance to dentists.
• Use Dentrix for scheduling and record keeping.
• Prepare treatment rooms with safety protocols (OSHA CDC).
• Manage supplies and place orders; support Heartland Dental systems.
• Collaborate with providers to improve office workflow.
