Job summary

Sea Mar Community Health Centers in Washington State seeks a Dental Assistant to support dental providers, assist with chairside procedures, manage patient flow, and coordinate supplies and equipment maintenance.

The role requires completion of a Dental Assistant program, a High School Diploma or GED, Washington State registration, and BLS CPR within 90 days of hire. Experience in dental offices is preferred and the job involves traveling between sites.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate, read and write in English.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Completion of a Dental Assistant program and WA state registration required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dental provider chairside using four-handed dentistry.
• Greet, seat, and escort patients to treatment rooms.
• Maintain sterilization and OSHA protocols in all clinic areas.
• Schedule appointments in Dentrix and register patients in Allscripts PM.
• Complete charting using SOAP/PARTS formats and record vital signs.
