Dentalcenter In in Granger, IN is seeking a Dental Assistant to support the clinical team by preparing treatment rooms, sterilizing instruments, and assisting dentists during procedures. You will welcome patients, educate on oral hygiene, take and develop X-rays, help with impressions, and maintain study models while following infection control rules.

Applicants should have a one-year certified dental assistant program (or six months on the job with documentation), X-ray certification, and CPR.

Qualifications

• Completion of a one-year certified dental assistant program or six months on-the-job experience with supporting documentation.
• X-ray certification is required.
• Nitrous oxide certification is highly recommended.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Clinical Support: Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and assist dentists during procedures.
• Patient Care: Welcome, comfort, and educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
• Radiography & Diagnostics: Take and develop X-rays, assist with impressions, and maintain study models.
• Compliance & Safety: Ensure infection control protocols, maintain patient confidentiality, and follow regulations.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate patient records and scheduling; assist with emergencies as needed.
