Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in a dental setting preferred.
• Must have access to minimum PHI necessary for job-related functions.
• Regular HIPAA training aligned with the specific role is required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients from the start of their dental journey.
• Conduct thorough health history reviews to provide quality care.
• Take and process x-rays and other diagnostic assessments.
• Provide superior chairside assistance to dentists.
• Utilize Dentrix for patient scheduling and record keeping.
• Prepare treatment room following safety protocols.

Skills

Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology

Excellent communication and organizational skills

Experience in a fast-paced environment

Dental assistant certification and/or x-ray certification

Education

Dental assisting school certification
