Job summary

Champaign Dental Group is seeking a Dental Assistant to join our team. This role involves greeting patients, reviewing health histories, and providing high-quality chairside assistance during procedures.

You will take and process X-rays and use Dentrix for scheduling and records, while maintaining strict safety protocols. Our office operates Monday to Friday with variable hours and offers a benefits package including 401K and PTO.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment.
• Dental assistant certification and/or x-ray certification as required by state law.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients from the start of their dental journey and educate during treatment.
• Review patient health histories to provide quality care.
• Take and process x-rays and other diagnostics (iTero 3D scanner, digital photography).
• Provide four-handed chairside assistance to dentists during procedures.
• Use Dentrix for scheduling and record keeping.
• Prepare treatment rooms adhering to safety protocols and OSHA/CDC guidelines.
• Manage supplies and place/expedite orders; support office workflow.
