Heartland Dental’s Family Dental at Wildlight in Yulee, FL is seeking a Dental Assistant to join our team. You’ll greet patients, review health histories, take X-rays, and provide four-handed chairside support during a wide range of procedures. You’ll use Dentrix for scheduling and records, prepare treatment rooms per OSHA/CDC safety protocols, and help manage supplies and inventory. Qualifications
Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
Experience in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment.
Dental assistant certification and/or x-ray certification as required by state act.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
HIPAA training and PHI data safeguards.
Responsibilities
Greet and welcome patients and educate during treatment.
Review patient health history for quality care.
Take and process X-rays and diagnostic assessments.
Provide four-handed chairside assistance to dentists.
Use Dentrix for scheduling and records.
Prepare treatment room per OSHA & CDC safety protocols.
Manage supplies and inventory; place orders as needed.
Partner with providers to implement Heartland Dental systems.
