Smile Brands Inc. is hiring a Dental Assistant in Tukwila, WA to support the dental team with high-quality patient care. The role involves assisting during procedures, preparing instruments, and maintaining a clean, organized workflow.

Ideal candidates will hold a Washington RDA and a current BLS certification, with at least two years of chairside experience and proficiency in provisional crowns. Schedule is Mon–Fri 8-5, with additional hours as needed.

Qualifications

• Washington RDA active is required.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• 2 years chairside experience.
• Proficiency in making provisional crowns is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during dental procedures, including surgeries, fillings, cleanings, and other treatments.
• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment before, during, and after patient treatment.
• Take digital dental X-rays accurately using dexis software.
• Prepare materials for dental procedures (e.g., fillings, impressions, crowns).
• Provide chairside assistance, ensuring patients are comfortable and informed.
• Record and update patient medical histories and treatment plans in the dental software.
• Manage dental instruments and tools, passing them to the dentist as needed during procedures.
• Educate patients on post-treatment care and oral hygiene.
