Smile Brands Inc. is seeking a Dental Assistant in Washington to support the dental team with chairside assistance, instrument preparation, and sterilization. You will help with x-rays, patient comfort, and documentation of medical histories and treatment plans.

The role requires strong communication and a caring demeanor in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate must hold an active Washington RDA license and a current BLS certification, with knowledge of infection control and OSHA/HIPAA

Qualifications

• Washington RDA license currently active.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• Knowledge of dental terminology, infection control, OSHA/HIPAA standards.

Responsabilités

• Assist the dentist during procedures, including surgeries, fillings and cleanings.
• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment before, during, and after treatment.
• Take digital dental X-rays using dexis software.
• Prepare materials for procedures (e.g., fillings, impressions, crowns).
• Provide chairside assistance and ensure patient comfort.
• Update patient medical histories and treatment plans in the software.
• Manage instruments and pass them to the dentist as needed.
• Educate patients on post-treatment care and oral hygiene.
