Job summary

Community Health Care in Washington state is seeking a Dental Assistant to join our clinics. You will register and log patients, initiate dental records, and support chairside procedures including cleaning, sterilizing, and temporary fillings or crowns. You will operate suction and assist during X-ray imaging.

A WA State Dental Assistant License is required, or graduation from an approved program with at least 1 year experience. On-the-job training is considered.

Qualifications

• WA State Dental Assistant license required.
• Graduate from a DA program or 1 year of on-the-job experience.
• Proficient in chairside assisting, radiographs and sterilization.

Responsibilities

• Register and log patients; prepare dental records.
• Perform procedures including cleaning, sterilizing, and temporary fillings/crowns.
• Act as chairside assistant; operate suction; keep instruments clean.
• Operate X-ray machines; take bitewing and periapical radiographs.
• Carry out other duties as assigned.
