Kaiser Permanente Northwest is seeking a dental assistant at the Beaverton Medical/Dental Office to support dentists, hygienists, and staff. Duties include four-handed dentistry, radiographs, patient education, and instrument processing in a fast-paced dental office setting.

The role requires at least one year of dental assisting experience or ADA-accredited training, plus Oregon certifications and BLS. Schedule includes days with varied hours and travel between sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of experience as a dental assistant or graduated from an ADA-accredited dental assisting program.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Oregon certifications: Dental Radiation Proficiency, Pit and Fissure Sealant, Expanded Function Dental Assistant, and Basic Life Support within specified timeframes.

Responsabilités

• Assist in dental procedures under licensed provider supervision as per state rules.
• Prepare, pass and organize instruments and materials; expose dental radiographs as needed.
• Maintain infection control, recordkeeping, and patient communications per guidelines.
• Support patient care flow, scheduling, and provide patient education on oral hygiene.
