Job summary

The candidate should have a high school diploma or GED, Oregon Dental Radiation Proficiency, EFDA, and an ADA-accredited program graduate with 1 year of experience or equivalent training. Travel to multiple clinics may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Basic knowledge of sterilization and infection control equipment preferred.
• Minimum 1 year experience as a dental assistant or graduate from ADA-accredited program.
• Oregon certifications: Radiation Proficiency, Pit & Fissure Sealant, Expanded Function Dental Assistant, and Basic Life Support within specified timelines.

Responsibilities

• Assist dentists and dental team during procedures, take impressions and radiographs, and prepare instruments.
• Place and remove orthodontic appliances, band sizing, and arch wires as directed.
• Maintain patient records, scheduling, and infection control throughout clinical activities.
• Support patient comfort and education on hygiene and preventive care.
