Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• EFDA training including dental radiology required.
• Current BLS certificate from a recognized organization required.
• Nitrous oxide certification preferred or needed within 12 months of hire.
• Valid Florida driver’s license with reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Chairside dental assisting as allowed by Florida statutes and rules.
• Operate dental X-ray equipment and take diagnostic X-rays as prescribed.
• Sterilize and care for dental instruments per OSHA/CDC standards.
• Educate patients and guardians on oral health and treatment options.
