The EFDA will place restorations, apply sealants, perform coronal polishing (if certified), take diagnostic radiographs, and ensure strict infection control while contributing to workflow and patient satisfaction throughout the day.

Qualifications

• Active Florida Radiology License is required.
• EFDA training and Florida certification are required.
• Chairside experience in a general dental practice is preferred.
• Experience in a professional office setting is required.
• Coronal Polishing Certification encouraged.
• Dentrix or similar practice management software experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for dental treatment by escorting them to the operatory, ensuring comfort, and reviewing required documentation.
• Assist the doctor during dental procedures with efficiency, accuracy, and professionalism.
• Anticipate provider needs and maintain a smooth clinical flow throughout procedures.
• Chart clinical notes accurately and in real time during treatment.
• Educate patients on oral health, treatment plans, and post-procedure care instructions.
