Job summary

Dental365 in Brick Township, NJ is hiring an entry-level dental assistant floater to welcome patients and support the dentist during procedures in a busy family practice.

We offer flexible hours with full-time opportunities, competitive pay from $17 to $24 per hour, and benefits including health, vision, 401(k) matching, generous PTO, and an in-house dental program for you and your family.

Responsibilities

HIRING SCHEDULE:

• Monday: 9:00am - 3:00pm
• Tuesday: 9:00am - 5:00pm
• Thursday: 9:00am - 5:00pm

*Ability to add hours for those looking for full-time!

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Welcoming patients with a smile, making them feel comfortable and confident throughout their visit.
• Support the Dentist with various procedures.
• Ensure strict infection control by meticulously preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment.
• Sanitizing and prepping operatories for respective treatments.
• Adhere to OSHA and safety policies, prioritizing a secure and healthy environment.
• Educate patients on effective oral hygiene strategies as needed
• Undertake diverse office tasks as needed for seamless practice operations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• This is an entry level position (floater) - previous experience in Dental Assisting and NJ Radiology certification a plus! Open to applicants on the pathway to obtaining their certifications!
• Any certification/license as required by the state to perform specified duties.
• A resume showcasing a consistent and stable employment history.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills, delivering exceptional patient experiences.
