Benevis is hiring a Dental Assistant to join our team and support professional dental staff in patient care. You will assist with examinations, patient education, and treatment preparation while helping maintain a clean and ready clinical environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• X-ray certification preferred by state and practices.
• Certified dental assistant credentials preferred by state and practices.
• Bi-lingual in Spanish a plus depending on location.
• Adhere to government regulations, company standards and compliance programs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality and compassionate care to every patient.
• Guide parents of minors through processes before treatment.
• Educate patients in oral hygiene and provide postoperative instructions.
• Prepare patient for examination and treatment.
• Take x-rays and save to patient charts (location dependent).
• Maintain readiness of hygiene bay and operatory rooms.
• Prepare tray setups for dental procedures.
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments, equipment, chairs and rooms.
• Assist dental staff with treatment and documentation in patient charts.
• Support with suctioning, retractors, and sutures during surgeries.

Skills
