Job summary

United Health Centers of the San Joaquin Valley is seeking Dental Assistants and Registered Dental Assistants to join our clinics in California. Experienced DAs or new grads are welcome; higher pay for RDAs is noted.

The role supports dentists, prepares tools, sterilizes equipment, and assists during procedures to ensure quality patient care. Applicants should meet education requirements and CPR/X-Ray/Polish certifications, with a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required or equivalent.
• Accredited college training in dental assisting is required.
• X-Ray and Coronal Polish certificates are required.
• CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt dental support and promote smooth patient flow.
• Maintain back office order and manage equipment and supplies.
• Communicate clearly with supervisor and staff.
• Work flexible or extended hours when needed.
• Engage in center in-services and meetings, listening to others’ ideas.
• Maintain confidentiality as required.
