Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Dental Assistant; certification preferred.
• Familiarity with dental instruments and sterilization methods.
• Understanding of health & safety regulations.
• CPR certification current; licensing per state board.

Responsibilities

• Assist doctor chairside with procedures.
• Take radiographs.
• Assist with prophy appointments.
• Assist with impression taking as needed.
• Shade match patients for doctor as requested.
• Assist with orthodontic procedures.
• Disinfect treatment rooms after procedures.
• Explain treatment to patients and obtain consent forms.
• Enter treatment plans and update charts and histories.
• Wear appropriate personal protective equipment.
• Escort patients to treatment rooms and provide customer service.
• Close treatment rooms at end of day.
