Job summary

PDS Health is seeking a Registered Dental Assistant to support the dentist in delivering high-quality care in a patient-focused environment. The role involves chair-side assistance, x-ray operations, and education for patients to ensure understanding of treatment plans.

Ideal candidates hold an HS diploma or GED with state-mandated certification/licensure; an associate degree or certificate is preferred. Benefits include medical/dental/vision, PTO, tuition reimbursement, and more.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Certifications/licensure as mandated by state for RDA.
• Associate degree or certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist dentist to gain patient commitment for treatment with urgency.
• Prepare patients for treatment and assist doctors during procedures.
• Take and process x-rays and intra-oral pictures as directed.
• Instruct patients on postoperative and oral health care.
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments and operatories per guidelines.
• Comply with OSHA, HIPAA, ADA, DOL and related regulations.
