Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) at Special Smiles Pediatric Dentistry located in Zionsville, IN. The EFDA will be responsible for assisting the dentist during patient treatments, taking and developing X-rays, performing sterilization, preparing patients for examinations, and providing compassionate dental care to pediatric patients. Other day-to-day tasks include maintaining dental equipment and ensuring a clean and safe working environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in Dental Assisting and expanded functions
• Proficiency in dental care, dentistry, and oral care procedures
• Knowledge of sterilization techniques and protocols
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work well with children and create a positive dental experience
• Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or registered EFDA
