Qualifications

• Completion of a one-year certified dental assistant program (or six months on-the-job experience) with supporting documentation.
• Dental Assistant certification.
• X-Ray certification.
• Nitrous Oxide certification is highly recommended.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Prepare operatories for patients and assist the provider during treatment.
• Perform sterilization and support patient education on oral healthcare goals.
• Maintain thorough patient records and assist with scheduling appointments.
