Heartland Dental in Paris, TX is seeking an experienced Dental Assistant to join a state-of-the-art practice. You will work with Dentrix, assist with implants and crowns, and support the team with chairside duties and imaging.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of typical dental procedures and terminology.
• Experience in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment.
• Certification as a dental assistant and/or x-ray certification if required by state law.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Access to minimum PHI, HIPAA training, and data safeguards.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and ensure comfort throughout treatment.
• Review health history to support quality care.
• Take and process x-rays and digital imaging.
• Provide four-handed chairside assistance to dentists.
• Use Dentrix for scheduling and record keeping.
• Prepare treatment rooms per safety protocols and OSHA/CDC guidance.
• Manage supplies and place orders; support Heartland Dental systems.
