Job summary

Community Health Care, Inc. is seeking a Dental Radiography Assistant to support our dental team in Davenport, IA. You will clean, sterilize, and prepare instruments, operate X-ray equipment, and ensure accurate records for urgent care patients.

Requirements include Iowa radiography licensure with CPR, and attendance at a state Board-approved radiation seminar. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and a supportive work-life balance in a Monday–Friday schedule.

Qualifications

• State Board-approved radiation seminar certification required (4 hours) or student status.
• Iowa radiography licensure with CPR certification required.
• Ability to operate dental X-ray equipment in accordance with regulations.

Responsibilities

• Clean, sterilize, and sharpen dental instruments.
• Oil and clean equipment.
• Follow infection control recommendations and safety guidelines.
• Demonstrate knowledge of various consents (oral surgery, papoose, endo, etc.).
• Take dental X-ray photographs; develop and mount X-ray films (including for urgent care patients).
• Prepare and file case histories and treatment records, ensuring charts are up-to-date.

Education

Registered in the State of Iowa with Radiography qualification
