Lorain County Health & Dentistry seeks a dedicated Dental Assistant to join our growing team in Lorain, OH. You will support patient care, prepare treatment rooms, and assist clinicians in a fast-paced dental environment.

The ideal candidate has completed an accredited dental assistant program, holds or is eligible for an Ohio Radiograph permit, and is committed to HIPAA and infection control standards. Spanish language skills are a plus, and a valid driver's license is preferred.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Completion of a dental assistant program is required.
• Ohio State Dental Radiograph permit or eligibility is required.
• BLS certification is required.
• Previous dental experience is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with satisfactory driving record is required.

Mansioni

• Welcome and drape patients and review medical and dental histories.
• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments and materials per LCH&D protocols.
• Assist clinicians with all four-handed dentistry procedures including preventive, restorative, endodontics, and radiography.
• Maintain patient records accurately and comply with HIPAA at all times.
• Promote infection control standards and safe, high-quality patient care.
